Every time I’m at Poipu Sands 412 I am in awe.  It  just has a way of being elegant yet comfortable.  The owners have really taken their time to select some amazing art by local Hawaiian artists.  I love sitting out at their lanai table and just watching the world go by.  There is such a feast of color with the beautiful green lawn and the different bursts of color from the flowers.  Not too far away is a BBQ area that any chef would be happy to grill in.  Chairs and tables for convenience or socializing while creating the evening’s delights.

In the winter months, Poipu Sands has a core group of friendly snowbirds who come from afar to escape the cold and many of them get involved in volunteering at the various charities on island.  It’s so nice to see people immerse themselves in our lifestyle and leave a little bit of themselves behind to be missed until next year when they return again.

Our dog, Chew E Lewis has a following at Poipu Sands.  We used to walk him daily just before dinner and he’d visit the different condos for a variety of treats.  There was a friendly competition of who had the best leftovers to give to the always enthusiastic Chew E.  Our walks became a progressive dinner for Chew E and his waistline was showing it so we take longer walks in the mornings now, but occasionally go through Poipu Sands so he can visit his old friends.

Beautiful condo. Didn’t think it would be as quiet as it was. We had the pool all to ourselves! Enjoyed eating on the lanai several times. There’s an ocean view from the master bedroom and lanai. Lots of fans in the home, which come in handy. The 2nd bedroom with queen and twin beds stays much cooler than the master. Saw sea turtles in the morning. Others said they had seen dolphins the morning before. Easy walk to the Hyatt where we enjoyed their swings facing the ocean for a romantic sunset. Would love to stay here again. �

Lanai off of living room and master bedroom.  Walk right out onto the large greenbelt.  BBQ grills (both gas and charcoal) are right across from our unit.  Grill your fresh fish with an amazing view of Shipwreck beach.  Lanai table seats 6.
Master bedroom suite.  Eastern King bed with a large bathroom.  Travertine shower with river rock detail.  Ocean view from bed.  Living room is very comfortable.  Large Sharp Aquos tv on the wall with surround sound.   Chaise lounge to relax and read with the trade winds.Newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances.  Seating for 6 at the dining table.  Lots of great artwork for your enjoyment.  This unit is light and and bright.
