We purchased our condo in Poipu Sands in September of 2009.  We have spent many months on the island of Kauai, always looking for the right spot.  Poipu Sands is quiet with lots of open spaces.  Right next door is the Grand Hyatt Kauai and the Anara Spa.  Throughout the Poipu Kai Resort are lots of walking paths and green belts.  There are tennis courts, heated pools and spas.  After we purchased our condo, we did a complete remodel.  We gutted the condo and started new, travertine floors, river rock accents in the travertine showers, new kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances.  Newly tiled lanai just across from the gas and bbq grills.  The master has an eastern king size bed, flat screen t.v. and a large, open bathroom, all with an ocean view.  The guest bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There is a queen size bed and  a twin size bed in the guest bedroom.  Mirrored closet doors reflect the lush landscaping.  There is also a desk area in the guest bedroom with a granite desktop.  The condo has wi-fi, cable, and a stereo system.  Though we do not have air conditioning, the trade winds flow through all the time.  There are ceiling fans in each bedroom (and in master bath dressing area) as well as three in the living room and dining room.  Our kitchen is outfitted with all you need to enjoy meals you prepare from the amazing island fare offered on Kauai.  Our condo has a washer and dryer in a separate laundry room.  This condo is approximately 1300 sq. feet.  Perfect for a family or two couples. Enjoy the sunrise over Shipwreck Beach, steps from our condo. The heated pool is a few steps away. There is a tennis court at the entrance to Poipu Sands and several courts at the Poipu Kai Resort. As an added feature, you have access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club during your stay for a small fee. You will love Poipu Sands and the surrounding areas.

This past summer (2016) we purchased Poipu Sands #415.  It is also ground level, 1 bedroom (king) and 1.5 bath condo.  We upgraded all the furnishings and fixtures.  There is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.  All the same features and amenities as #412, just a little closer to Shipwrecks Beach and the Hyatt.  Perfect for a couple or a family with little ones.  We hope you love the Poipu area on Kauai as much as we do and will stay at Poipu Sands #412 or #415 soon.  Aloha and Mahalo.
